Egypt

The next destination would be Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx in Egypt!

I always wanted to see Pyramids since I was a little girl. And somehow I can only see it in the movies :) In this destination, landing in Cairo and plans to visit lots of tourist sites. Like Citadel in Islamic Cairo. A grand castle built by Salah Al-Din, The Coptic museum in Coptic Cairo, The “Hanging Church” (Church of Virgin Mary) in Zabaleen Area (District of Manshiet Nasser) not far away from Citadel. Al Azhar Park, a recently opened landscaped gardens overlooking the Citadel.

And then off to Cairo Tower on Gezira Island which offers view of Cairo, along with the Giza Pyramids in the west. Abdeen Palace, home of the last king of Egypt.

I sure going to blog lots of pictures here. Along with the weather and history of each sites. Hope the history there would be in English :)

Riding a felluca along the Nile River, Smoke a sheesa water and drink mint teaa at El Fishawy’s coffee shop in El-Khalili. Visiting the Giza Zoo and Cairo Botanical Gardens.

And if the time is enough, trying the Dream Park and Magic Land in nearby Sixth of October City

Africa

I really want to go to Cape Town, Mother City of Africa, and the Western Cape, an area which is regarded as one of the most beautiful regions in the world.

I want to visit Table Mountain and take a cable car ride to see the spectacular 360° views of Cape Town from the top of Table Mountain. The Table Mountain Aerial Cableway takes visitors to the summit of Table Mountain in less than 10 minutes. The cable car’s rotating floor and huge windows ensure all passengers get a 360° aerial view as they head up the mountain.

Visit The Green Market Square that lies at the heart of Cape Town’s business district and is the ultimate flea market – find a wide range of goods to buy, including good quality crafts and enjoying entertainment in the form of buskers, mime artists and jugglers.

Visiting Portswood Square, the aquarium showcases the unique marine life of the Atlantic and Indian oceans. With more than 3 000 marine creatures on view – including sharks, turtles and penguins – the Two Oceans Aquarium is one of the finest aquariums in the world and a must-see on any tour of the city.

Visiting The Signal Hill which is a prominent landmark from which the historic Noon Gun is fired. It forms the “lion’s body” for the adjacent Lion’s Head mountain. Don’t be startled by the firing of the gun – its distinctive boom sends birds into the sky and causes many a surprised tourist to glance around.

And finally visiting The Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point which  offer spectacular scenery.
